More and more sickness and diseases are attacking the people..Cancers is the killer..A colleague's father jus succumbed to the ruthlessness of cancer and passed away last nite..It was diagnosed just 2 months ago..It was a relieve for him I find..  I have heard of people who proposed to gf in a romantic way but I do not know them..Ryan & Esther is the 1st couple I know who just did that last Thurs [23rd April 2009] Last Thur was Esther's birthday..Ryan brought her for dinner and then for movie..He purposely made themselves late for the movie..When the show finished..the screen played a DVD showing photos of both of them..When the lights lit up..she saw that the whole theater was filled with people she knew..Her colleagues..their friends..their family members..his army frenz and gf..[This was the reason why he purposely late for the movie..so that Esther wun know that the theater is filled with people she knew..And Ryan still arranged for his army frenz & gf to be sitting around them as she dunno them..how totful] Then there was cake..heart-shaped balloons..flowers and of cos the proposal ring..I can imagine how touching the scene is..Truly happy for them! Searched on net and found an article >> Baby girl thrown into pot of boiling water dies To my horror..I found another case..Also father did to a daughter but this case was in 2007 >> 'He's the worst scum of the Earth' Really sad to read such news..Especially being a mommy now..Dun wish to hear such news again... *Luv..the funny scene is between us..We can share with Xiao Nat next time..haha* Tried the 3rd time before we got this nice shot!  Attended Luv's Ah Ma's 82nd birthday @ Woodlands on Saturday..Had buffet and cake-cutting before we left to seek for home furnitures..Saw an industrial factory having up to 90% sales and tried there..Went to Morris Lifestyle as well but none were to our liking..Proceeded to Causeway Point..Missed that place..There used to be our dating place..Oops..LOL..Spent 2-3 hours inside and bought a sofa set..Then took bus and reached AMK at 7pm..It was duper hot day and realised that it was freaking 35 degree celsius on that day..No wonder! The entrance steps tiles are removed..  Floor tiles in living room and kitchen are gone..So are the wall tiles in the kitchen..Wiring is also removed.. And most distinctive is the wall between living room and kitchen is also gone!  New tiles and sand has arrived..  It was very dark..I know that there is a switch to on the light in the common toilet but I do not dare to anyhow on..haha..Can only take picture in the dark..It was quite scary also..Now come to think of it..I am so daring to go alone and the time then was 9pm already..*Cold sweat* This is the kitchen area..Damn dark rite??  Our Master bed room..Gone is also the toilet wall and its stuff..  Xiao Nat's room  Gone is the storeroom  This area used to be where the wardrobe positioned..  I must admit that they are really efficient..William told us that those wall can only be hacked off next week..When I arrived..everything is done! Impressed! *Xian- Seriously speaking..this is the 1st time we went out together..Do you realise that? LOL* It was raining super heavily that afternoon..We were supposed to meet 4.30pm..In the end..it was delayed till 5+..Yixia was super sweet to come Henderson to pick me and Xiao Nat up by cab.. *Girl..thanks alot for the gesture and for paying the bill* Gathered at Mos Burger and chit chat for awhile..Just nice Xiao Nat was napping and so it was easier to gossip..haha..But soon he woke up and disasters started..He vomitted and shivering..The 3 of us were like in the midst of chatting and we had to quickly find a toilet to change him..Went 1st floor's toilet..Showed sign of baby changing area but when we went in..we found none..Went to 2nd floor's and same thing happened..In the end..we just changed him carrying him..We were quite 鸡手鸭脚..haha.. *Thanks alot to the 2 of you for the help* After the mess..planned to go Bugis with the 2 of them..But Luv arriving at Tiong and so I had to part with them.. *Paiseh for the so short meeting..I expect the gossip session to be juicy and long de..haha..Anw..I will be able to meet you all w/o my 'package' soon as Norman has volunteered to help me take care of Xiao Nat..But that is after we moved into our new home..So we shall arrange another outing soon k?* Here's a pic of me..Hui Xian and Xiao Nat..Where is Yixia leh?? Am alone with Xiao Nat at Boon Lay..Luv is on duty now.. =(..Xiao Nat is playing with his Gu Gu so I tot I can take this time to update blog template.. Has replaced Our trips to Fond Memories..Prior to this..I have hyperlink those trips to the entries posted..Dunno what strikes me to add this category and to just add and hyperlink in all the more memorable posts in this category..For now..the more memorable ones are our trips together..our wedding and the birth of our beloved boy..Next will be our home sweet home entry.. Finally..we collected our keys on 2nd Apr already..OFFICIALLY the owner of our new home @ AMK Ave 3..We also met the contractor whom we decided to use after getting quotations from all 5 of them..It was quite a headache to decide on which contractor to use..Too many choices spoilt us..LOL..We both like his designs for our home and his attitude..Most important..his quotes is the best among all..Hacking will start next monday and estimated to be ready by mid May..Stay tune for more pictures of our home..Woohoo~~we cant wait to see the end results.. Supposed to meet my Sec school frenz for dinner that nite to celebrate Poh Lian’s bday..In the end I gave it a miss as I want to take care of Xiao Nat on my own so as to allow my Ah Ma to rest..Poh Lian was very understanding and she even msg me the next day to ask how is Xiao Nat le..Felt really bad to miss her bday celebration.. Went to select the floor and wall tiles on Saturday..Bought all the toilet necessities as well..Spent a lot of $$..Starting to feel abit stressed over the house expenses.. Just few hours outside..we spent like $6K+..I know all these expenses is for long term’s sake..but one shot paying so much cash can make me faint ok..Was discussing with Luv how we can cut cost but seems like everything is necessary to spend.. =.= The next morning..I was telling my Ah Ma that I was thinking to cancel the installation of air-con..She told me to just do whatever we need to do..Air con is thou a luxury..it can be very practical esp during hot weather..Told me not to worry about $$ issue..Whatever shortfall..she will settle for us first..I was very touched..We are now talking $$ in terms of thousands..No doubt definitely we will return her..but her generosity and willingness to part with her savings to lend us really touched me a lot.. As for yesterday..was down with sore throat and slight cough..but still has to run errand for dad..His new maid arrived and we finally sent off the useless maid..This new maid is good..more initiative and alert..hope she will take good care of my dad.. *WAITING FOR AN IMPORTANT CALL..PLEASE CALL ME!!!* Memories posted @ 11:13Friday, April 03, 2009

Met a contractor on Mon..In between received a call from maid agency saying that the maid my dad employing last minute backed out..She is supposed to arrive this Friday..And my current maid has found new employer and also have arranged for her to be transfered out this Friday..Yesterday purposely took half day off to go to agency to select a transfer-maid..Normally people wun want a transfer-maid cos they are considered 'rejected' maid..But no choice..Luckily got 1 not bad and scheduled to arrive at dad's place on Friday as usual..Then thinking everything was settled..the agent called me again to say the new maid can only arrived on Mon latest Tue as there were some other issues..I was like..WTH..Then I quickly asked the current maid's agent to request to delay the transfer..But she said that the new employer wants the current maid by Friday..ARG!! Till now the damn issue yet to be settled..Sianz.. Then for house..still yet to decide which contractor to use..Everyone quote so high..Zzz..Then dunno what happen to the electricity..Called PUB and they said that they have already turned on the power..So what is what?? And our lil boy fell sick yesterday..Actually slight cough was found out on Mon..yesterday the cough got more serious and started to have running nose..Brought him to doc and spent like $100++..I feel safer to bring baby see a paediatrician then a GP..Fed him milk and then medicine..Dunno if the medicine agitate his throat or what..he vomited alot of milk out and kept screaming and crying..Luckily my ah ma was there to help me..If I was alone..I think I cant handle everything alone.. *I want a hug from you!* Memories posted @ 10:19 |
