Time flies..Today is the last day of June..half a yr just passed like this..
Been with MOM for 2 weeks..so far so good..but somehow feel that r/s with colleagues aint as good as I wanted it to be..I am referring to the female ones..As much as I tried to communicate with them..it just cant work..haha..I told Bee Tin that I only go lunch with the guys and she shared the same concern as I had earlier..Will those girls gossip that I,being the only girl kept hangin arnd with guys? Well..indeed I did tot of that..but after that..I felt that I rather let them gossip than having a boring lunch EVERYDAY! As long as I enjoyed my lunch..who cares! I am just here to work not to curry favours to them..Of cos in office I will smile and chit chat abit la..but just a short one cos nth to tok abt also..LOL
Yest was msnin with my frenz..and realise that 2 of them are pregnant and is about the same time! I was so shocked..LOL..really happy for them as they have been wanting to have kids..Pray that they will have smooth pregnancy period and have the gender of their wish..
And ya..also received the results of the ballot for ticket..in MOM..every quarter they will have this balloting system to ballot for free pass to Zoo..Bird Park..Wild Wild Wet and Escape Theme park..Can choose up to 4 places and 2 date slot..I was just tryin my luck and I really got it! Tickets to the Zoo..Actually my 1st choice was Wild Wild Wet but I got my 2nd choice..Well..it is still a blessing..There are 4 free entry and we have invited Terrence and Holly and of cos Baby Bosco..Toking about Baby..I tot I asked a stupid question yest..I asked if baby is considered 1 person..LOL..no one could answer me..Hmm..in the end..I felt baby is not considered as a entry ba..LOL..
Holly has been a very good fren to me...Been advisin me about baby stuff..Share things with Xiao Nat..Those we seldom meet..we are those kind of frenz where we have alot of things to chat even if no time nv meet up..When I received the results..the 1st thing to come to my mind was to invite them..[Holly..touched ma?haha] We cant wait to go this outing with them!!

Normally I will have bread for breakfast..Last nite..Luv bought a box of Choco Pie and gave me 2 packet after spreading bread for me..Got 2 things to eat for breakfast..Then this morning..Ah Ma was fryin banana and she asked me bring to office..LOL..3 things for breakfast..So sweet of them and now I have 干掉 the bread and planned to eat the rest later..Hmm..feel fat now lo..look at my tummy..sad =(
Anw some updates about my work..I have not fully take over the work..The person teaching me is busy with an event..So still slacking..seems like wherever I go..I can slack..What blessed life I have..LOL..As for colleagues..I cant really click with my female colleagues in my team..Now I go lunch with the guys and is more fun eh..We talked as we eat..unlike with the female colleagues..When is time to eat..they are REALLY eating..no talking was done! So sian..I complained to my darling and she commented that it seems like if I cant get to talk..I will die..LOL..seems quite true..And yest I went lunch with females colleagues from other team..Hmm..I can click with them wor..Think just no chemistry with my team one ba..Whatever la..haha

About 2 weeks back..I was proposing to luv that maybe we can getaway during CNY
[And he is very excited about it!]
We were planning to go Bangkok..YES! AGAIN! 1stly it is a place where we both love to shop and the last time we went..it was not as fulfilling as we want it to be..and also we are bringing Xiao Nat and my grandparents along..so with our budget..we tot BKK is the most ideal place..We planned to pay for the air tix for them as a gesture of thanking them for taking care of my son so well and not taking our $ and on top of that..still paying things for us..When we want to pay them back..they do not want to accept..Even when they asked us to buy things..they kept insisting to return the $ to us even thou we said no need..So we felt this was the best way to thank them..
And today I read Yahoo! News and saw that CNY falls on Vday and it is on a Sunday! Long weekend..Fri off till Tue..Wat great timing! Msg luv immediately and he asked me issit go book now? LOL..Will be going to Chinatown to check out Focal Travel since I am working in this area..Like abit kiasu leh but..dunno..just feel like bookin it soon and have something to look forward to!

While waitin for another colleague to go for lunch..shall blog awhile..so bored..Zzz
When I saw my colleagues this morning..all ask how is my knee..So paiseh..like so big deal like that..A new colleague came today and my supervisor orientate him around and intro him to other dept..Last week I was not intro to other dept so my supervisor asked me along also..And when intro to 1 lady..she also asked me how is my knee.. =.="" Whole MOM knows abt it..
Later then I found out because this issue was announced in the Finance Meeting last Thur..I was supposed to introduce myself during the meeting but the director announced that I was on MC due to my knee injury..realli =.=""
Famous for fallin down..Well done cilibaby!

Went out at 12plus..went for dinner at AMK before proceedin to Suntec..Went to Haagen daz for kopi..Got $10 voucher from Starhub for using their service for the past few years..Hmm..subscribe for so long..only till we terminate then we got a $10 voucher..After that went to DMK and bought 2 pairs of shoes..Sighz..on wed just spent $28 on a pair of platform..wearing heels hurts so tot a pair of platform will be beta but it just ended up having blisters..Waste of $$..today's shopping is great..cheap and comfy! Shall petronise DMK more..
Went for service and received a free gift from church for all daddies..But now it ended up as my gift..haha..cos I will be using it to store my accessories..LOL..After service went for dinner..
Bro footed the bill..Thanks bro!
Back to work tmr already..Will not be using MSN for the moment..cos I dun like to use Ebuddy and I also no much time to chat as still learning the ropes..No point being online when I cant chat..But I promised to blog more and anything..u guys can tag me ok? Take care for now and nites!

Today is my 2nd day at MOM and I am blogging during work time liao..LOL..
So far..work is still ok..the work scope seems fun..alot of new things to learn..Superior is patient and teaches me quite well..but for colleagues wise..I think I need more time to blend in..
Last weekend was an eventful one for us..On Fri..we went to Tampines to shop around the new shopping centre - Tampines One..On Sat..I have 2 batch of friends came to my house for visit..1 in noon which consist of my darling Soh Leng and Priscilla..The other batch came in evening which is my sec school kakis..Both batch took photos with Xiao Nat which I will post in his blog instead of here..And on Sun..we went to Orchid Country Club..A family day with my bro's family..Brought Xiao Nat for a swim..Photos again are in his blog..
I also took some pictures of the Country club..will add in tonight after I uploaded the photos from camera.. =)

Finally bought the last item in our list - TV console
Maybe this doesnt constitute to a TV console la..more like a TV bench..whatever it is..as long as we can put the MIO set and in near future our SCV modem and WII..
It was quite a fruitful weekend for us..On Sat..after visiting my dad..we brought his Ah Ma to our house to sit sit..Prior to that..she din know we have actually bought a flat..She was quite shocked to learn about that..LOL..She is a very cute Ah Ma la..Came to our house..walked here walked there..kept saying that our house is very big..Sat about 1 hour only and she said that she wants to go home already..LOL..
On Sunday..we went out at 10am..took bus 88..planned to change to bus 27 at Punggol area but we missed the bus stop and the bus just went straight to express way..zzz..to our surprise..bus 88 also passed by Ikea but it was a longer walk..We went to Giant 1st and we bought alot of titbits..4 bags full..haha..then proceeded to Ikea..1st thing first was to eat the hot dog bun..Never fail to buy 1 whenever we go Ikea..After that..we started to hunt for our TV console..We told ourselves that we must stick to our agenda and not buying other things..We always ended up buying things that we might not need when we go shoppinb..This time round we somehow managed to stick to it but in the end we still bought a extra item which is coaster which costed $3.50..LOL..
We took a cab home and I think I looked quite helpless till 1 woman asked if we need help to carry the things..LOL..1 hand I was pushing the pram which contained the 4 days of titbits..1 hand carrying Xiao Nat who was sleeping..For him..1 hand he was carrying the 14kg Tv console and 1 hand carrying Xiao Nat's bag..haha..then we passed by Sheng Siong and he said that if people know that we are stayin at a blk where we can purchase things conveniently from Sheng Siong which is just downstairs..they will think that we are siao to go till Giant to buy things that can be purchased from Sheng Siong..LOL..
At nite..we went for dinner with my grandparents and went for walk..Missed 1st part of [Night in the musesm] on Channel 5..Toking about show..we are both now into this show..
LOL..Korean version of Meteor Garden..haha..Not bad..
And it is Monday again..Zzz..worked another 4 days and it gonna be my last day with Soode SEA..so fast my 1 month notice is finished..

OMG! Time is passing soooooooooo slowly.. =.="" So perhaps should post a random post..
Saw the news yesterday that civil servants are not receiving any mid-year bonus this Jul..

I am going to be a civil servant soon..This mid-year bonus wun affect me in anyway but I know for year end..I will definitely get the bonus! LOL..
Anw something happened in my family..He was caught by TP few months back and kana a court case for tampering with coupon..TO THOSE WHO DRIVES OFF PEAK CAR..PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CHEAT THE TP BY TAMPERING WITH THE COUPON IF YOU WANT TO DRIVE DURING WEEKDAYS..EITHER U PAY $20 FOR THE COUPON OR IF REALLY DUN HAVE THE COUPON PLEASE TAKE A CAB..IF STILL PREFER TO DRIVE THEN JUST DRIVE WITHOUT THE COUPON..IF KANA CAUGHT..THE CASE IS NOT AS WORST AS TAMPERING WITH THE COUPON AS IT IS TANTAMOUNT TO CHEATING!
This clever person tampered with the coupon by pasting back the torn-out dates and kana caught by TP..Yesterday was slapped with a fine of $8K..Contemplated whether to help him or not to help him..in the end..borrowed $ to help him..hope he will automatic return lor..Before deciding to help him..I keep holding back as I dun trust him to return $..$ lend to him never return..Got even tot of letting him go jail since he cant pay the fine..But in the end..heart wins over mind..Afterall $ is just a material..gone already still can earn back..but a kinship once lost..is hard to gain back..$ vs kinship of cos I choose the latter..but there wun be the next time I help him..

We were watching TV on Sun's nite..and commercial showed [ 百万大歌星 ]..And below was our conversation
Me - Been wanting to watch this show but always no chance as Ah Ma always watching Channel 8.
Him - You can watch it tmr already.
Me - How to watch? Need to clean house and make Xiao Nat sleep..By the time I am free..the show already finished..
Him - Nvm la..I clean for you..
Me - Nvm la..also never watch for so long already..see how lor..mayb can clean faster..

Yesterday evening received a call from him @ 1830 telling me that he just knocked off and asked me to tabao back for him..So after eating at Ah Ma's house..I tabao and carry Xiao Nat back @ 1930..When I opened door..he was there and he said - surprised? And I saw him perspiring and I knew the knock off time was a lie..He reached home at 1830 and had finished cleaning the house..LOL..
The show started @ 1955 and he brought out this thing~~
Craved for ice cream 2 weeks back..And he promised to buy me Ben & Jerry but after awhile I dun want as is too ex..Last weekend we went NTUC and after we paid and he recalled he promised to buy me ice cream but I told him to save the $..And yesterday he went to buy this..Thou not Ben & Jerry..it is still very nice..There is this saying - No fish..prawn also good! LOL..Get to watch the show and eat ice cream..Happy~~ So easily contented.. =)

Planned to go for medical check up as required by MOM last Saturday..took the form on Friday nite and read thru again as I din really read the form when I took it and I saw ~
PLEASE CONTACT THE CURRENT MEDICAL SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE CIVIL SERVICE TO OBTAIN A MEDICAL APPOINTMENT DATE AND COMPLETE THE MEDICAL REVIEW BY 20 MAY 2009.
I was like ~Shit lor..it is already 30th May! And I read on..
IF YOU FAIL TO COMPLETE YOUR MEDICAL EXAMINATION BY THE ABOVE-MENTIONED DEADLINE WITHOUT INFORMING US, YOU WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE WITHDRAWN YOUR JOB APPLICATION.
I started to panick and cry already..Thinking back..I know I have overreacted..but really jialat what..If MOM deemed me as withdrawn from job and I have tendered over here..what's next? Jobless? Lucky Luv was there to 'counsel' me..Ask me to call on Mon..unlikely that this will be the final decision but somehow it could not get into my ears..I just keep grumbling..Cos it is GOVERNMENT what! LAW BY LAW..lol..After I stopped crying..he continued to comfort me..saying what can be worst..at most find another one lor..Then I was ok liao..It din bother me much after that..
And 1st thing I did this morning was to call them and asked for 2nd chance..This is what she told me..IT IS OKAY..YOU CAN CONTINUE TO GO FOR YOUR MEDICAL REVIEW..
Zzz..why in the 1st place want to scare people like that..Crappy G********T!
Anw..starting to count down the days left in current office..Will enjoy each day to the fullest!
